Policy:

FitCon is committed to providing a safe and harassment free environment for everyone attending. FitCon does not tolerate any form of harassment from event attendees including: attendees, staff, volunteers, vendors and guests. Any individual(s) violating this policy may be removed from the event by Law Enforcement, Safety Managers and Event Staff at the event organizers discretion.

Reporting:

Harassment can be reported by anyone. If you encounter someone who has harassed you, made you uncomfortable or observed harassment of any kind, contact a Safety Team member or the FitCon info booth immediately to take prompt action. The Safety Team will be identified as wearing Fitcon volunteer shirts with Safety on the back and will be wearing credentials stating Safety. Safety Team will escort you to the Staff Office for further actions. The Safety Team will contact law enforcement if necessary and will provide you with a safe and quiet place to take down information to fill out a report. FitCon has a zero-tolerance policy and your safety is our number one priority.

Emergency Policy:

If there is an active emergency, contact a Safety Team member immediately to take prompt action & we will contact authorities immediately. The Safety Team will be identified as wearing FitCon volunteer shirts with security on the back and will be wearing credentials stating security. Safety Team will escort you to the Staff Office for further actions. The Safety Team will contact law enforcement if necessary and will provide you with a safe and quiet place to take down information to fill out a report. Fit Con has a zero-tolerance policy and your safety is our number one priority.

Lost And Found:

If you’ve misplaced an item, please visit the FitCon Info booths to speak with a staff member. If your item hasn’t been located, please leave a detailed description of the item and your contact information. Any found items will be promptly returned to you.

Lost and found items will be kept for one week after the conclusion of the show.

Lost Child:

If a parent or guardian is missing their child, immediately find a Safety Team member or report it to the FitCon Staff Office. The Safety Team will be identified as wearing FitCon volunteer shirts with security on the back and will be wearing credentials stating security. Safety Team members have procedures in place for locating children. Once the child is found, they will be escorted directly to the Staff Office. If the child does not want to go to the designated location, Safety Team members will stay with the child and relay the location to Safety Managers and Staff personnel. The parent or guardian will be notified of their child’s location and Safety Team will need to confirm and record your identification and contact info prior to Safety or staff releasing the child. First Aid:

If you or someone has a medical emergency/injury. Immediately find a Safety Team member or report it to the FitCon First Aid station. The Safety Team will be identified as wearing FitCon volunteer shirts with security on the back and will be wearing credentials stating security. If needed, EMT will assess the situation. If more medical help is needed, the correct medical Officials/Authorities will be notified to assist.

Floor Rules

1. FitCon is a family-friendly convention and we ask that all customers be considerate of other attendees. Please be aware of all surroundings while at FitCon.
2. Please wear appropriate shoes for all fitness classes and/or walking around the convention.
3. Rollerblades or any type of skating items used for transportation are prohibited.
4. Participation in any and/or all of the fitness activities and events are at your own risk. FitCon Expo LLC assumes no responsibility in the event of any injury, Sickness, and/or harm.
5. Bags are subject to be searched at any time.
6. FitCon Expo LLC reserves the right to refuse entry and service to anyone.
7. All customers must have an official FitCon wristband for entry.
8. By attending FitCon, you allow FitCon Expo LLC to use your image, whether in photography or videography, on their website and/or other advertising materials.

Harassment & Weapons Policy

1. There is a zero-tolerance harassment policy.
2. This includes, but is not limited to: physical assault, verbal harassment, sexual harassment, stalking, unwanted physical contact, unwanted advances, or inappropriate photography.
3. Conference participants who violate this policy may be expelled from the conference with no refund.
4. No weapons of any kind are allowed at FitCon. This may include but is not limited to guns, knifes, sharp objects and harmful items.
5. FitCon reserves the right to inspect any attendee.
6. Smoking, alcohol and illegal drugs are not allowed.

Covid-19 Policy

1. By purchasing a ticket and attending FitCon, I acknowledge the contagious nature of the Coronavirus/COVID-19 and that the CDC and many other public health authorities still recommend practicing social distancing.
2. Attendees further acknowledge that FitCon LLC has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of the Coronavirus/COVID-19.
3. Attendees further acknowledge that FitCon LLC can not guarantee that I will not become infected with the Coronavirus/Covid-19. I understand that the risk of becoming exposed to and/or infected by the Coronavirus/COVID-19 may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others, including, but not limited to, FitCon staff, Vendors, other attendees and their families.
4. Attendees voluntarily seek admittance to FitCon by FitCon LLC and acknowledge that I am increasing my risk to exposure to the Coronavirus/COVID-19. I acknowledge that I must comply with all set procedures to reduce the spread while attending FitCon.
5. Attendees attest that:
   * I am not experiencing any symptoms of illness such as cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fever, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell.
   * I have not traveled internationally within the last 14 days.
   * I have not traveled to a highly impacted area within the United States of America in the last 14 days.
   * I do not believe I have been exposed to someone with a suspected and/or confirmed case of the Coronavirus/COVID-19.
   * I have not been diagnosed with Coronavirus/Covid-19 and not yet cleared as non-contagious by state or local public health authorities.
   * I am following all CDC recommended guidelines as much as possible and limiting my exposure to the Coronavirus/COVID-19.
   
   

   Attendees Agree To:

   Hold FitCon Expo LLC harmless from, and waive on behalf of myself, my heirs, and any personal representatives any and all causes of action, claims, demands, damages, costs, expenses and compensation for damage or loss to myself and/or property that may be caused by any act, or failure to act or that may otherwise arise in any way in connection with any services received from attending FitCon by FitCon Expo LLC. I understand that this release discharges FitCon Expo LLC from any liability or claim that I, my heirs, or any personal representatives may have against FitCon Expo LLC with respect to any bodily injury, illness, death, medical treatment, or property damage that may arise from, or in connection to, any services received from FitCon Expo LLC. This liability waiver and release by purchasing this ticket extends to FitCon Expo LLC together with all owners, partners, and employees.
