What Happens When Your On Stage

The Salt City Showdown will feature a new and improved walkout process for all competitors. In addition to being more efficient, it will also give each competitor extra individual viewing from our judges.

Pre-judging & finals will take place in the same time block dedicated to the division. Competitors will not have to return back to the venue for a separate finals show.

Walkout Process

  • One by one each competitor will walk out to the center of the stage, do their favorite pose & line up side by side on the back of the stage.
  • Once all competitors are out on stage, groups of 6-10 will be called forward.
  • Competitors will be required to present a symmetry round facing the front, side, rear and opposite side.
  • The group will then be given an opportunity to go through the mandatory poses (seen in Mandatory Poses Tab).
  • Each individual will be called out singularly to show a more indepth mandatory pose at the judges discretion.
  • Once the group has been seen, the group will be asked to move to the back of the stage to allow the next group to proceed on stage.
  • Once every competitor has been seen & judged, the finalists will be chosen and called to come forward on stage.
  • If you did not get chosen as a finalist, you will then exit to go backstage.

Finals Process

  • The judges will require finalists to do select poses from the mandatory poses at the judges discretion.
  • The judges will then place the top 5 competitors and awards will be presented.
