Prestige Men’s Health is Salt Lake City’s finest provider of testosterone replacement therapy.
Prestige Men’s Health started in 2015 when Dr. Joshua Schmidt realized a need that was significantly unmet as a whole in the community. Having been trained in urologic surgery and medicine, he is well versed in both male and female hormone replacement and truly enjoys helping patients feel young again. He believes that although aging is inevitable, your body’s response to it does not have to be, and with advances in hormone replacement, the practice is now safer and more effective than ever.
Prestige Men’s Health not only offers testosterone replacement therapy, but also offers bio-identical hormone replacement for women, intravenous vitamin therapy, HCG and weight loss assistance, lipo shots(MIC injections), and B-12 shots.
Since men lose approximately 1-3% of their testosterone every year after the age of 30, it comes as no surprise that low testosterone is a common problem, and one that can almost always be corrected easily. We offer testosterone replacement in 2 different forms, injection therapy and pellet therapy.
Injections are given weekly, have a short acting (~1 week) therapeutic life, and are inexpensive. Normal dose ranges from 75-200mg weekly. Cost is $25/week for cash pay patients, and usually FREE (once deductible is met) for patients that are insured.
Pellets are placed every 3-6 months (depending on your body’s metabolism). These pellets are placed under the skin with a small incision (~1cm) and done in the office. They offer a very quick, stable, and sustained release of testosterone that is very predictable. Cost is extremely competitive at $400.
We also provide services for women. Although aging is inevitable, feeling old is optional! With a simple office based placement of BHRT pellets (Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy), we can significantly reduce the symptoms of aging/menopause, including increasing libido (sex drive), decreasing hot flashes, vaginal dryness, sleep problems, depressive mood, irritability, anxiety, physical fatigue, memory loss, bladder problems (incontinence).
