TAYLOR EMPEY is a Certified Fitness Trainer & Nutrition Specialist with expertise in Kinesiology and Nutrition Science. His passion for fitness began in 2008 when he started training in Taekwondo. He has since trained in over 8 different martial arts and self-defense styles, achieving his 1st degree black belt in 2014. In 2010, Taylor began his personal training career in the health and fitness industry. He holds multiple nationally accredited certifications from the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) including CFT, SFN, SET, and Elite Trainer Level I. Taylor is a featured member/contributor of the Men’s Health Fitness Council, and has appeared as a local fitness authority on KSL5, ABC4, CW30, The Younger You 12 Week Challenge (Season 2), Healthy Utah Magazine, Salt Lake Magazine, Max Muscle, and Health Warrior.

SHANE PACE began studying health and fitness in the 1970’s and spent 9 years as a personal trainer. He gained much of his experience and knowledge about the human body as a Licensed Massage Therapist, and spent over 13 years in that industry. Shane has studied martial arts for over 32 years and founded his own self defense style in 1986.
